Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Heavy-Duty Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations and changes, replace filters, etc. Responsibilities Listen to operator issues, conduct inspections, repair engine failures, repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replace parts and components to maintain vehicle condition. Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. Maintain vehicle records by logging service and repairs. Able to use a computer for recording service, materials used and diagnosis of vehicles. Requirements Proven experience working as a Heavy-Duty Truck Diesel Mechanic. Possess a valid driver's license. CDL is a plus but not required. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures for heavy trucks; familiarity with similar industrial equipment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working in various environmental conditions. Position includes bending, lifting (100 pounds), and climbing as it relates to maintenance.

From $30.00 per hour
