Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medium/heavy duty maintenance and repair. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of medium/heavy duty equipment (mostly semi trucks and trailers). Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties Diagnose issues using various tools and techniques, including computer software. Ensure payment is received on each job performed before the customer/equipment is released. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed. Complete roadside and on-site repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Experience Proven experience as a medium/heavy duty Mechanic is required. Familiarity with computer software diagnostics is required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Details You will be provided a service truck equipped with all tools necessary to perform roadside/on-site repairs of semi trucks and trailers & other medium/heavy duty equipment You will be provided with a company phone to receive customer or dispatch calls on jobs needed to complete You will be on an on-call rotation and be expected to answer calls, complete jobs and collect payment at all times while you're on-call, including after normal business hours (middle of the night/early morning) and weekends If you are a qualified mechanic with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.
