Overview KnM Services is a family-owned truck and trailer repair shop located in Waterloo, IA. We have cultivated lasting relationships by providing high-quality truck, trailer, and fleet repair services. We are seeking a Mid-Level to Experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working on medium-to-heavy-duty trucks, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability work independently while maintaining high-quality work. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance, services, and DOT inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose and complete a variety of mechanical repairs, including brakes, air bags, suspension, air systems, driveline, and hydraulics. Diagnose and repair issues including, but not limited to, fuel systems, injectors, electrical, EGR, emissions systems, and other related components. Identify and effectively communicate repair needs. Assist with other repairs as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience required. Pay based on experience Experience working on medium-to-heavy duty trucks. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates reliability and accountability in completing assigned work. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Must have own tools, or willing to obtain. CDL is not required, but a plus.

Pay:

$22.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
