We operate a medium sized fleet of primarily Freightliner tractors along with several 26' straight trucks. We also maintain a solid inventory of 53' dry van trailers with both swing and roll doors. We have a modern in house shop equipped with a wide variety of tools and equipment to facilitate maintenance and repairs. Ideal candidates should have familiarity with Detroit diesel engines. Paccar diesel engine experience and ASE diesel certification is also an asset. This position is geared towards preventative and routine maintenance service on our equipment. We do not perform any major engine or transmission overhaul service in house.

• Perform scheduled routine maintenance on tractors / straight trucks and trailers.
• Evaluate and R&R parts as required to effect repairs on defective equipment.
• Troubleshoot engine performance problems, make recommendations for repair and create estimates based on proper diagnosis, repair, or replacement.
• Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
• Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on equipment.
• Able to work independently and focus on safety and time deadlines.

This is a full-time hourly position with company benefits. We make health, dental and vision insurance available after 90 days. Hours are M-F and start times can be flexible.
