Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop and Diesel Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the shop or field, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking service requests and managing work orders. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for high voltage systems and precision measuring instruments. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on product performance and customer needs. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer feedback. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working in diverse environments. Requirements Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in industrial mechanics or technical services. Certifications in Tech service is preferred but not a must. General knowledge with diesel and trailer repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Military experience may be advantageous but is not required. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel frequently to client locations as needed.
