Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and diesel engine repair. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Duties Repair gas powered saws, water pumps, generators, trailers, trucks, and other motor vehicles. Diagnose mechanical issues in heavy equipment and diesel engines. Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and other heavy equipment. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Specialize in vehicle transmission systems Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Requirements Previous experience as a mechanic Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment CDL Class A Ability to work independently Honest and reliable Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, hours are negotiable.
