Job Description
Beelman Ready Mix is currently seeking a full-time experienced diesel and plant mechanic to our join our team at our Mt. Vernon location. CDL license preferred. Job Duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals
- General maintenance and repair of all production facilities and Ready-Mix equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and supervisors to diagnose issues and explain repairs
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and shop protocols Job Requirements
- Must possess own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
- Comprehensive understanding of Class 8 equipment in relation to DOT regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- CDL w/ air brakes preferred Benefits
