Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, where your expertise will drive the maintenance and repair of large commercial trucks and heavy-duty diesel engines. In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring fleet reliability, safety, and optimal performance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, air brake inspections, and vehicle alignments to keep fleet vehicles operating at peak efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Diagnose automotive electrical systems and perform electrical repairs including electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical system troubleshooting. Assist with assembly and equipment repair tasks; perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and ensuring timely completion of work orders. Experience Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes (including air brake systems), suspension components, shocks & struts, and automotive repair techniques. Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and electronic testing equipment for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignment procedures, equipment repair, auto body repair, and power tool operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a team setting.
