Semi-Truck and Trailer Mechanic About Us MBM Repairs is a high-growth heavy-duty truck repair facility specializing in diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and fleet maintenance. Serving the Chicagoland market, we are committed to minimizing downtime and delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for commercial diesel vehicles. Position Overview We are actively hiring skilled Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians with hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks. This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced shop environment and have a strong foundation in diesel systems, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair. Core Responsibilities Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues in diesel engines using diagnostic tools and technical expertise. Repair & Maintenance Execution Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, fuel systems, and after-treatment systems (DPF, DEF, EGR). Preventive Maintenance Conduct scheduled maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with safety standards. Complete detailed and accurate repair orders, including diagnostics, labor, and parts used. Work closely with service advisors and shop leadership to ensure timely turnaround and high-quality service delivery. Required Qualifications Repair Documentation Shop Efficiency & Collaboration Proven hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Technician Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy-duty truck components Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues independently Own a basic set of tools required for daily mechanical work Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications Experience with trailer repair and maintenance Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software and scan tools CDL (Commercial Driver's License) - highly preferred Why Join MBM Repairs Consistent workload with growing demand Opportunity to work on a wide range of diesel trucks and systems Career growth for technicians at all levels (entry to master tech) Stable, long-term position in a high-demand industry Contact For more information or to apply, contact:
