Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of diesel engines, industrial machinery, and fleet vehicles. Your hands-on skills will keep operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and air brake systems using OEM schematics and service manuals Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignment, and vehicle inspections to prevent breakdowns Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools for custom repairs or modifications Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during repair or testing procedures Conduct assembly and disassembly of mechanical components with precision to ensure proper fitment and function Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and follow safety protocols at all times Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance CDL preferred Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and transmissions in various machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Bring your mechanical knowledge to a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
