We're looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join the team that keeps our fleet — trucks, semi-trucks, locomotives, cranes, loaders, forklifts, and more — running safely and reliably. This isn't a one-trick shop: you'll work across a wide range of equipment, sharpen your skills daily, and be part of a crew that takes ownership of its work. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair internal combustion and diesel engines and their auxiliary systems — electrical, cooling, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Perform mechanical maintenance across a wide equipment fleet: trucks, semi-trucks, cranes, loaders, forklifts, pumps, and compressors. Use parts lists, manuals, and schematics to accurately diagnose issues and specify replacement parts. Keep clean, organized equipment logs and a well-maintained work area. Step in as an equipment operator when needed, and take on new challenges as they come up. What You Bring 5+ years of verifiable, full-time experience as a diesel mechanic. Caterpillar repair certification from an accredited vocational/technical training program. Strong working knowledge of diesel and internal combustion engine theory and components. Comfort and skill with powered drills, grinders, hones, and specialty mechanic's tools. A valid CDL, or the willingness to obtain one quickly after joining the team. Your own set of mechanic's tools (a full list is provided) — most techs already have what's needed, and you'll have four weeks to round it out.
