DIESEL MECHANIC

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Diesel Mechanic for a company based in Geismar, LA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to anchor yourself in a permanent, permanent-track position within a rapidly expanding facility. Pay Rate $20.00 - $30.00 per hour - DOE Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 4 00 pm Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery. Perform preventive maintenance on engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical components. Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and ensure safe operation. Complete repairs on loaders, excavators, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, and other construction equipment. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Follow all safety regulations and company policies. Q ualifications and Requirements 2+ years of diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred. Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions. Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety.
