Preferred Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other heavy equipment components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, brake repairs, suspension checks, and alignment adjustments to ensure equipment longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical issues on construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, and other industrial equipment using hand tools and power tools. Repair and service heavy equipment including loaders, bulldozers, and excavators, and Heavy trucks as well as pickup trucks. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform safety inspections to uphold safety standards during all maintenance activities. Experience Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic Strong background in construction machinery maintenance and servicing heavy equipment like excavators, loader and dump trucks. preferred to be skilled in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems related to heavy machinery, and equipment troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, tire service, suspension work, brake repair, hydraulic systems repair, and assembly tasks. Are all a plus Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is advantageous; must be comfortable working with power tools and performing heavy lifting safely.
