Job Description
DIESEL MECHANIC WANTED J&C
Truck Repair is looking for an experienced full-time diesel mechanic to join our growing fleet maintenance team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can handle everything from routine maintenance to complete engine rebuilds. Responsibilities- Complete diesel engine overhauls and in-frame rebuilds
- Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, fuel, air, and cooling systems
- Perform clutch, transmission, differential, and driveline repairs
- Brake and suspension repairs
- PM services and preventative maintenance
- Tire mounting, balancing, and roadside tire repairs
- DOT inspections and fleet maintenance
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Keep accurate maintenance records Requirements
- Experience working on Class 8 trucks (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, etc.)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to rebuild diesel engines
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Own tools preferred
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) What We Offer
