Schedule Tuesday-Saturday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Pay & Benefits $24.00-$42.00 per hour , based on experience and certifications $6,000 Sign-On Bonus 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Employee discounts Referral bonus program What You'll Do As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of more than 95 motorcoaches to ensure they operate safely and reliably. Responsibilities include Diagnose and repair diesel engines (Cummins and Detroit Diesel experience preferred) Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Repair brake, steering, suspension, and mechanical systems Troubleshoot electrical and vehicle diagnostic systems Service HVAC systems (EPA Section 608 certification is a plus) Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations Qualifications At least 1 year of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience Valid driver's license Ability to obtain a CDL within six months of hire Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC) and background check Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently Physical Requirements Lift up to 100 lbs. Stand for extended periods Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb as needed Safely use tools and diagnostic equipment Why Jefferson Lines?
