(Paid out in retention installments) What You'll do As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic at Arvig, you aren't just a technician -you're an employee-owner with a direct stake in our collective success through our ESOP and Profit Sharing programs. You will independently lead the service and repair of a diverse construction fleet, mastering complex diesel engines, 12/24V electrical systems, and hydraulics in both our New Hope shop and through high-impact mobile field support. What You'll Bring Commitment to
Safety:
A strong dedication to maintaining a safe environment—both physically and mentally—for yourself, your colleagues, and customers. At least 5 years of combined education and field experience performing mechanical work on vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a DOT Inspector Certification. Detailed familiarity with gas/diesel engines, 12/24-volt electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Advanced mechanical and intermediate welding skills, along with the ability to supply your own basic tools to perform daily duties . Bonus points if you have Prior experience performing heavy equipment mechanics specifically within the underground utility field. Deep familiarity with the specialized equipment and machinery associated with underground utility construction. Location This position will be based out of New Hope, MN.
