Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly, electrical schematics, and electro-mechanical components, contributing to the production of reliable and efficient electrical products. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, electrical systems, and technical craftsmanship to grow within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints accurately to guide assembly processes. Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology techniques to assemble PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and electro-mechanical components. Build electrical panels by following schematic instructions, ensuring proper wiring, component placement, and adherence to IPC J standards. Perform soldering tasks with precision to connect components securely while maintaining quality standards. Conduct testing of assembled units using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for continuity and resistance checks. Troubleshoot assembly issues or defects through engineering troubleshooting methods and rectify problems efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to machining, wiring, and soldering. Collaborate with engineering teams during prototype development or process improvements related to electrical assembly. Follow blueprint specifications meticulously during assembly processes to ensure product consistency and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in electronics assembly with knowledge of PCB fabrication, surface mount technology (SMT), and through-hole components. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools, soldering equipment, electro-mechanical components handling, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with manufacturing standards including IPC 610 for electronic assemblies. Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams accurately for complex assemblies. Experience building electrical panels and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Strong mechanical assembly skills combined with an understanding of machining processes are preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong troubleshooting skills for electrical or mechanical issues. Knowledge of engineering troubleshooting techniques related to electro-mechanical systems is desirable. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical products that meet rigorous industry standards.
