Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Conduct repairs on transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC units. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks. Execute alignment adjustments and brake repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.. Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities. Certification or training in automotive repair or diesel mechanics is preferred.
