Pilgrim Trucking and Excavation is hiring for an experienced
DIESEL MECHANIC
  • Paid weekly based on experience Ability to work with others Must be dependable with reliable transportation Monday-Friday 7AM-5:30PM (usually done earlier) Paid OT @40 hours Yearly paid vacation after 1 year and a Christmas bonus Work in a covered shop
  • Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic or Shop Help to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment. If you have a passion for working with heavy-duty machinery and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, this position may be the perfect fit for you.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment, including heavy lifting and use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with diesel engines and related systems.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a mechanic or in a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and skills, with the ability to work with a variety of diesel engines and related equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
