Immediate (ASAP Preferred) Job Summary TruxxServices is seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to join our team as one of the leading roadside repair company for the biggest established Fleet companies in the trucking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, specifically in tractor-trailer applications. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all fleets are operating safely and efficiently. We are looking to attract top talent who thrives working independently and loves working on the road with heavy duty vehicles. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to brake repair, air brake systems, and suspension components. Conduct oil changes, PM and DOT inspections on tractor-trailers, bucket trucks etc. Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools and specialized equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Safety Standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status. Work in a mobile on-road environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Drive within a radius of 150 miles per service call. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience performing tire and oil changes, PM Maintenance and DOT inspections for commercial vehicles Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to diesel engines. Familiarity with heavy duty vehicle systems. Valid Driver's license and clean driving record (CDL a plus but not mandatory) Experience with all types of engines including Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack/Volvo, Navistar, Paccar etc are preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of tractor-trailer systems, including air brakes and suspension systems. Effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
