Diesel Mechanic —

Fleet Maintenance Position Type:

Full-Time We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping trucks and trailers safe, reliable, and on the road. We're looking for a mechanic who can work independently, think critically, and troubleshoot problems rather than simply replacing parts. Trust is extremely important in this position. The right person will be someone leadership can rely on to do quality work, communicate honestly, and take ownership of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on trucks and trailers Diagnose and repair basic mechanical issues Change and repair truck and trailer tires Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical or safety issues Troubleshoot problems and determine the best course of action Perform routine brake, suspension, steering, and other maintenance Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment organized Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Communicate issues and repair needs with leadership Help keep equipment safe, dependable, and ready to work

What We're Looking For:

Diesel or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred Ability to perform truck and trailer tire changes Experience performing PMs and routine fleet maintenance Solid understanding of basic mechanical systems Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Dependable, honest, and trustworthy Takes pride in quality workmanship Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities CDL —

A Plus:

A CDL is a plus , but is not required. The ability and willingness to operate company equipment when needed is highly valued.
