HEAVY EQUIPMENT & DIESEL MECHANIC

Stallings, NC | $27-$32/hr DOE | Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic to join our shop in Stallings, North Carolina We operate a fleet of excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks and trailers , and we need someone who can keep that equipment working and minimize downtime.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and drivetrains Perform preventive maintenance and routine service Repair excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers and dump trucks Perform DOT inspections, brake work and trailer repairs Perform welding and torch work as needed Identify parts needed and communicate requirements to the Shop Manager Complete work orders and document repairs Keep the shop and work area clean, organized and safe

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3-5+ years of heavy equipment and/or heavy-duty diesel repair experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability; able to work independently Ability to read service manuals, schematics and hydraulic diagrams Welding/torch experience preferred Own basic hand tools; specialty tools provided Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL not required Dependable, hardworking and takes pride in doing quality work
