Job Description
L. Gordon Iron & Metal Co. is looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled Industrial Maintenance Diesel Technician to help maintain and repair the equipment that keeps our scrap metal recycling operation running. This is a hands-on position working on a variety of heavy equipment and industrial machinery, including material-handling cranes, wheel loaders, forklifts, and our automobile shredder system . We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical problems, working with heavy machinery, and keeping equipment operational in a fast-paced industrial environment.
