Interstate Power Systems is looking for a Off Highway Equipment Mechanic/Technician(s) of all skill levels for our Lincoln Nebraska location.
Diesel Technician Pay Range:
$25.00

00/hour D.O.E. We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician(s) to join our team who are specializing in Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers and more! Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment, such as trucks, buses, construction machinery, and agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. We are offering highly competitive wages! Diesel Mechanic/Technician Job Duties Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment. Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs. Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs. Quality control work is performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion. Meet requirements for certifications. Operate equipment to diagnose problems, inspect equipment for defects. Repair and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozer etc. Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr Minimal welding Diesel Mechanic/Technician Requirements Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders) Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable. Experience with other diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus. Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train, and Automatic Transmissions. MSHA A knowledge of construction equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, gasoline and record keeping Diesel Mechanic Desired Skills/Qualities Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.
