Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and skilled Diesel Mechanics and Mobile Mechanics to join our dynamic team at both our Peabody, MA and Brentwood, NH locations. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced setting while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, brakes, and other mechanical systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and air brake inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Repair and overhaul heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems on vehicle systems for truck drivers and fleet operators; provide timely repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed; interpret schematics for accurate component replacement or system adjustments. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Strong background in automotive diagnostics with familiarity in Caterpillar, Cummins, or similar engine brands. Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair and vehicle maintenance for tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Skilled in reading schematics and electrical diagrams; proficient with vehicle systems troubleshooting including automotive electrical system repair. Knowledge of fabrication techniques such as welding; ability to work with hand tools and power tools efficiently. Previous experience working on excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems or other industrial equipment is a plus. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to provide professional support during service technician interactions.
