The Clayton Company is looking for an experienced class A or B Diesel/Heavy truck mechanic for our Jackson location. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience and have their own tools.

Job description:

Trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, brake, suspension, and air systems on heavy diesel trucks and trailers. Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers Ability to repair or replace engine and exhaust components Job requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in heavy diesel truck repair and maintenance Have complete set of tools to handle all types of repairs Ability to read service manuals, technical specifications, electrical diagrams Ability to write service reports and part requests Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs, pull/push 150lbs+ Ability to wear dust mask/respirator Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, sit, bend, and twist for extended periods of time Position offers full benefits package including health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.
