Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in school bus repair and mechanical knowledge. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in school buses Perform routine maintenance on buses to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Inspect critical components for wear and damage. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment. DOT Inspection Knowledge Diesel Experience Preferred Requirements Proven experience in school bus repair or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment. Proficiency in using power tools and welding techniques. Ability to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
