Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Welding, soldering, or tire service experience is a plus.
