Job Description
Mechanic - Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA) The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join the team at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tires, lubrication, and equipment repairs Service airport equipment such as snow plows, runway brooms, spreaders, and snow blowers, all the way down to landscaping equipment and small engine work Use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints This is NOT aircraft maintenance Qualifications High school diploma or trade school certification Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience, preferably with heavy-duty or diesel equipment Ability to obtain a
NYS CDL, NYS
Inspection License (Class 1 & 2), and airport security clearance Must be able to work any shift. Winter season will involve overtime.
