Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across various types of heavy equipment vehicles,. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive and heavy equipment repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems, including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical components. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including tire service, greasing, air brake systems, hydraulics, and electrical repairs. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment during heavy lifting and equipment operation. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each service task. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs and adherence to quality standards. Experience Experience working with heavy trucks & trailers. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance for trucks or tractor-trailers is preferred. Experience in welding, equipment repair, or fabrication is a plus. Familiarity with diesel mechanics, heavy truck repair or automotive electrical system repair is advantageous. Ability to operate power tools safely and perform heavy lifting when necessary. This position requires a motivated individual with a solid foundation in vehicle mechanics or industrial equipment repair who can work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
