Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience with various types of heavy equipment, including trucks, excavators, and farm machinery. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service. Duties As a Diesel Mechanic, your responsibilities will include: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnosing mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics and schematics. Conducting repairs on transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks. Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle maintenance needs.

Experience Candidates should have:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers. Knowledge of mechanical systems including shocks & struts, brake repair, and electrical systems. Experience with fabrication techniques is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
