Experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic Needed for Tree & Snow Removal Company! Part-Time, Flexible Hours (Must Commit To Some Evening And/Or Saturday Hours)

Hopewell Junction, NY New England Property Maintenance, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain various tree/snow removal equipment, trucks and heavy machinery at our business location in Hopewell Junction, NY. The right candidate for this position is reliable, self-motivated, takes ownership of their work, and is able to work independently under minimal supervision. Fleet Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake issues Conduct DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance Complete repairs efficiently and keep basic service records Identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns Maintain a clean and safe work area Experience with welding is a plus Hours for this part-time position are flexible; however, you must be able to commit to either some evening or Saturday hours each week. You must have reliable transportation and be able to provide us with a list of references that we can call to verify your knowledge and experience as a Fleet Diesel Mechanic. Ideally, you will have your own tools, but this can be discussed further. We offer competitive pay, dependent on experience, with estimated annual earnings of $40,000-$60,000. (Hourly rate to be discussed. Actual pay is contingent on number of hours worked.) 401K retirement plan available.
