Join a growing refrigerated fleet operation that supports more than 300 trucks, trailers, and transport refrigeration units. Work in a brand-new, modern shop with consistent hours, strong union benefits, and a management team committed to investing in tools, training, and technician development. Saturday:
1pm-9pm Sunday to
Thursday:

Senior Technician:
$50-$55 /hr. (3+ yrs) Benefits That Work for You Sign-on bonus $ 8,000 Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Holiday & Sick Pay Tool Allowance Uniforms and PPE provided Union Benefits Training and certification support Opportunities for Lead Technician and Shop Foreman advancement available for top performers What You'll Do Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Thermoking and Carrier refrigeration units Interpret wiring diagrams, test circuits, and use diagnostic tools to identify failures quickly. Conduct routine inspections and document all work performed Repair or replace compressors, belts, engines, seals, and refrigerant lines. Brazing, soldering, and are essential for repairing piping and structural components Respond to road calls and support drivers with breakdowns when needed Collaborate with fleet managers to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime Understand refrigeration cycles, refrigerants (like
R-404A, R-452A
), compressors, evaporators, condensers, and HVAC principles. This includes diagnosing cooling issues, charging systems on Thermoking and Carrier units and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, gauges, leak detectors, and multimeters vacuum pumps. Diagnose complex issues and make sound decisions under pressure. This includes adapting to unexpected failures and ensuring safe, efficient repairs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Some of the equipment you will be working on includes: Thermo King SB Series (Single & Multi-Temp) Thermo King Precedent Carrier Vector Carrier Supra S9 Straight Truck Refrigeration Units (primarily Carrier) Trailer Refrigeration Units
