Job Description

Join our team of busy mechanics! This position Identifies mechanical and electronic problems, makes repairs and offers a proper maintenance strategy on heavy vehicles, mobile equipment, passenger vehicles, pickups and other work trucks. Work between our maintenance facilities at the Holiday Mountain ski area and the CES shop in Monticello maintaining a fleet of diesel snowcats and off-road equipment and fuel company fleet.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow a checklist of inspection procedures. Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions. Read and interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment. Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment by using a hydraulic jack or hoist. Use a variety of power and machine tools. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles. Do routine maintenance including but not limited to changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment. Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components. Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts and other mechanical or electrical equipment. Be able to disassemble, work on and reassemble parts and machinery. Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and combustion control standards. Maintains vehicle cleanliness. Attend meetings and schools/training as required. Adheres to Company policies and procedures. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, manager or owner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Clean and safe driving record. Able to pass Background Check. Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be available to work overtime when needed.
