• Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician
• to their team. This position offers a mix of diagnostic work, emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and customer interaction while remaining local to the area.
• Key Responsibilities
• + Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment + Respond to roadside service calls and unscheduled breakdowns + Complete preventative maintenance and DOT inspections + Troubleshoot and repair engine, electrical, brake, HVAC, emissions, suspension, and trailer systems + Maintain accurate repair and service documentation + Manage inventory and parts utilized from service vehicle + Communicate effectively with operators, dispatchers, and customers regarding equipment status and repairs •Equipment Serviced•+ Heavy-duty commercial trucks + Tractor-trailers and fleet vehicles + Dry van and specialty trailers + Municipal and commercial diesel equipment •Qualifications•+ Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience + Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs with limited supervision + Experience working on trailers and heavy-duty truck systems preferred + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Own basic mechanic hand tools + Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors + A CDL is preferred, but not required.

Candidates with strong diesel repair experience who are interested in obtaining a CDL may be considered.

• Compensation & Benefits
• + $25-$33/hour depending on experience + Overtime opportunities available + Primarily Monday-Friday daytime schedule + Additional pay for occasional emergency or after-hours calls
