Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic Fleet Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly by performing comprehensive mechanical repairs, troubleshooting complex systems, and conducting preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers. . Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers including hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, electrical systems, and tires. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks on trucks, trailers. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Skills Proven background in heavy truck repair and fleet maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Knowledge of air brake systems, shocks & struts replacement, tire service, and HVAC systems on large vehicles. Ability to lift 70 pounds, frequently stand, stoop, kneel, crawl. NYS heavy duty inspectors license and valid CDL A, are a plus
