Weekend Diesel Mechanic — $60/hr, 1099 contractor Paid weekly by direct deposit

Where:

Our yard in Boardman, OH 44512. Legion Freight Solutions is a small, family owned refrigerated carrier running Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas. We need an experienced mechanic to keep our fleet up on evenings and weekends. You set your own hours . There's plenty of work, so take as much of it as you want. You work on your own and nobody stands over your shoulder. If you already turn wrenches during the week and want good side money, this is it.

Equipment :

Freightliner with Detroit and Cummins gliders, Kenworth, Volvo.

The work:

PM services — oil, filters, grease, inspections Brakes, tires, wheel seals, hubs Air leaks Belts, water pumps, hoses, etc light repair light diagnostics (no in-frame overhauls and no emissions system work) Electrical — lights, wiring, ABS, sensors DOT inspections Keep the maintenance logs straight What we're looking for: 3+ years on Class 8 or heavy equipment Experienced an chase down an problems without guessing Own hand tools (we can talk about the bigger stuff can be provided ) Works clean, works thorough, and shows up when he says he will

Pay:

$60/hr, 1099. Paid weekly by direct deposit — no waiting 30 days. Extra for a Class A CDL, but it's not required.

Hours:

Afternoons, nights, and weekends. You make your own schedule.
