Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on tractors and related agricultural equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service to keep equipment reliable and ready for use. Diagnose Tier 3 and Tier 4 diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systems using diagnostic tools and computers. Complete clutch, engine, and other major mechanical repairs. Service equipment air-conditioning systems, install attachments and accessories, and prepare equipment for delivery. Test equipment after repairs, complete repair orders accurately, and communicate repair status and parts needs.
Requirements Required:
Hands-on experience repairing agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or heavy-duty trucks direct tractor experience is not required. Working knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Experience diagnosing modern diesel engines, including Tier 3 and Tier 4 electronic and emissions systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools, computers, and testing procedures to identify equipment issues. Hands-on experience servicing equipment A/C systems using an A/C service machine. Must provide personal mechanic tools. Dependable work habits, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to complete quality repairs independently. #FJ1
Compensation:
$20.00 - $35.00 per flat-rate hour based on experience and qualifications Training and advancement opportunities Employee discount
