Overview We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency for our customers, which includes tractor-trailers and various industrial equipment. If you have a passion for automotive repair and a strong understanding of diesel mechanics, we want to hear from you. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire service. Repair or replace faulty parts using power tools and equipment. Align components according to schematics to ensure proper functionality. Conduct inspections of HVAC systems within vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems, including hydraulics. Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Experience with tractor-trailer maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license may be required.
