Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled, reliable Mobile Mechanic who can diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment on-site, working independently across diverse field environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment ranging from light-duty to heavy-duty (Class 8) trucks, following OEM specifications and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams. Provide on-site and roadside repairs, including emergency assistance and towing coordination. Maintain and test tools and equipment to ensure safe, proper working condition. Perform welding, fabrication, and DOT inspections as needed. Follow all safety protocols and complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a mobile service role, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Experience with diesel and gas engines and hydraulics; welding/fabrication experience a plus. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred, with a clean driving record (or insurable under the company's policy). Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions. Willing to work flexible hours — days, nights, weekends, and occasional travel — and pass DOT drug/alcohol screening. Honest, punctual, safety-focused, and a strong team player.
