We're looking for a Diesel Mechanic who has experience with heavy machinery and is skilled at a variety of complex tasks, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues using basic hand tools, as well as working with computerized components and equipment. We are a locally owned & operated trash collection service looking to add an experienced heavy duty diesel mechanic to our team. Experience with welding, field repair, hydraulic components, and troubleshooting electrical issues is mandatory.

Daily tasks include:

Repairing tires, brakes, wheels, etc. Engine and transmission diagnosis and repair including exhaust, turbochargers, aftertreatment, injectors, clutch, driveline repair, suspension repair, etc. Troubleshooting problems on trucks and performing repairs Hydraulic and electronic system diagnostics and repair Field repair of trucks broken on their routes Weekly preventative maintenance, greasing, and fluid/tire checks on trucks Inspecting trucks on a weekly basis, recording issues in our fleet management software, and properly repairing issues in a timely manner. All specialized tools and equipment including a company provided vehicle to be used during work hours will be provided. Employee will need their own hand and power tools. We require minimum 3 years of direct experience working on garbage trucks or related industries. A clean drivers license is required. CDL is highly desired and will increase pay
