Job Description

Job Summary LCL Bulk Transport is an established company in the food hauling industry. Family-owned and operated, the management of LCL Bulk Transport has always placed a high priority on customer service. We are seeking a skilled and energetic Diesel Technician/Fleet Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting the transportation and industrial sectors with reliable vehicle and machinery service.
Schedule Available:
Weekend 1st Shift - Friday through Monday (10-hr shifts) 7am to 5pm
Duties PM's:
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing Freightliner, Volvo tractors and Food Grade Tank trailers, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Work closely with peers, leadership team, operations, drivers, and vendors on a variety of shop-related issues Good time management skills and be able to work unsupervised Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Support heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Food Grade Tanks are equipped with instantaneous temperature monitoring. Tractors and trailers are reliable, well-maintained newer model units that will deliver product on time and convey a clean, professional image on company site. Requirements Minimum 1-yr experience working with Class 8 equipment Have own hand tools Applicants must be at least 21 yrs. old Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong technical background in Class 8 maintenance Successfully demonstrate clarity and conciseness in communication skills Computer Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs. Successfully demonstrate problem solving skills. Successfully demonstrate teamwork and teambuilding skills. Successfully demonstrate welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials. Ability to contribute to the work of the leadership team of the shop. Possess minimal typing skills for data input. Demonstrate ability to adjust to changing work priorities. Consistent demonstration of good interpersonal communication skills. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
