Experience with heavy lifting and the ability to work in various conditions. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety practices. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively. Certification in diesel mechanics or related fields is a plus. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their mechanical skills through practical assessments during the interview process. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated professional to our team! Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, Kubota and other heavy equipment. Conduct routine maintenance on various vehicles, including tractor trailer and other heavy equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspensions, and electrical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks. Interpret schematics to assist in the repair of complex systems. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment as needed. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
