Job Description

Doren Inc, a sister company to the R.I. Lampus Company - the western PA leader in Concrete Block, Hardscape Manufacturing and Brick Distribution, is in need of a Diesel Mechanic. We run a number of boom, buggy, and over the road flatbeds year round and are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our current team in the Springdale garage. Strong history of internal promotion and comradery as a proudly run family business. This position is Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm with potential overtime. $2,000 sign on bonus!

Medical, Dental, Vision, with a Medical Reimbursement Program Retirement plan 8 paid holidays Responsibilities include: Provide preventative maintenance on trucks and company vehicles Computer diagnostics Road calls - when a truck or vehicle breaks down Complete PA State Inspections on trucks and company vehicles Performing work on brakes, clutches, welding and fabrication Ensure all vehicles are operable and in safe condition throughout the year Manage inventory for mechanical items to ensure proper operating conditions Review the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), as submitted from each driver daily for mechanical issues noted for that vehicle
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a valid Class
A CDL PA
State Inspection License (Class 7) preferred Hydraulic telescopic boom experience is a plus Must be able to pass a drug screen High school diploma or GED required Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
