Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Forestry Equipment & Recycling Equipment Mechanic Victory Gardens is looking for experienced heavy equipment & truck mechanic. A Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Forestry Equipment, Recycling Equipment, and Truck Mechanic to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance on related construction equipment. Pay based on experience $30-45.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience or training in diesel technology and heavy equipment repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment including diesel & gas engines, hydraulics, Conveyor belts, bearings and rollers, etc.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision
• Have a complete set of tools

Responsibilities:

• Truck and Trailer Repairs
• Responsible for repairs and maintenance on large construction equipment
• Work safely and independently to diagnose and repair equipment in a field enviroment
• Diagnose problems and determine what repairs and parts are needed
• Maintain a clean truck and/or work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
