Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our small fleet of dump trucks. Duties Maintain fluid levels, check for air and fluid leaks, and keep trucks compliant with SCDOT regulations. Diagnose mechanical issues on dump trucks and perform any necessary repairs or parts replacements. Maintain detailed service records and complete inspection reports accurately for compliance purposes. Requirements
• Experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic systems. Skilled in automotive diagnostics Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Experience with heavy truck repair including transmissions, air brake systems, HVAC units, and tire service. Must be reliable, on time, and good with communication (i.e. if you're running late, let management know via text/phone call)
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
