•Join a dynamic team responsible for servicing and maintaining a fleet of buses, trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components to ensure safe and reliable operation. You will conduct routine maintenance, inspect vehicles for wear and damage, and perform emergency repairs as needed. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and software, and performing preventive maintenance operations such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations. You will collaborate with other technicians and service managers to prioritize repair schedules, maintain accurate service documentation, and uphold safety standards. Stay current on manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices, and participate in ongoing training opportunities. Work may involve lifting heavy components, operating specialized equipment, and working in noisy or outdoor environments. Successful candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and computer-based diagnostics is highly valued. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance is a plus.
