Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for traveling to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial diesel trucks and related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with diesel engines, vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repairs. This role requires someone who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and respond efficiently to service calls. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to perform mobile diesel truck repairs and maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduled services. Repair and maintain diesel engines, braking systems, suspension systems, and related components. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems. Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Document inspections, repairs, parts used, and service recommendations accurately. Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers. Coordinate with dispatch and shop personnel regarding service calls and repairs. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician, Heavy Truck Technician, or similar role preferred. Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing commercial diesel trucks or heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Experience using basic diesel diagnostic tools and software. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to travel to customer locations and work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Diesel technology training, technical certification, or vocational education is a plus. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace and job-site safety.
Pay:
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
