- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buses, trucks, and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections of engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other components to identify and resolve potential problems.
- Replace defective parts, such as brakes, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and government regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and drivers to understand vehicle issues and provide timely solutions.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry standards and technological advancements in vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Assist with ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure necessary supplies are available for timely repairs.
- Provide emergency roadside service to vehicles experiencing breakdowns when necessary.
