We are growing our operation and are looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in doing quality work and wants a long-term career with a company that values its employees. Position Overview We are looking for a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in electrical systems, brakes, axles, and general heavy-duty truck repairs . Experience working specifically on concrete mixer trucks is highly preferred . This position is ideal for someone who knows how to diagnose problems, work independently, stay organized, and complete repairs correctly the first time. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy-duty truck electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair: Truck lighting systems Wiring and electrical cables Wiring harnesses and looms Electrical connections and components Electrical shorts and other wiring issues Perform repairs and maintenance on axles and braking systems Replace and service: Brake drums Brake discs/rotors Brake pads Brake shoes Wheel seals and related components Inspect trucks and identify mechanical and safety issues Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs Properly diagnose problems before replacing parts Maintain a clean and organized work area Document work performed and parts used Accurately track time spent on every service and repair Communicate with management regarding repair status, parts needed, and additional problems discovered Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

What We Are Looking For Required:

Minimum 6 years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks Strong knowledge of heavy-duty electrical systems Strong experience with brakes, axles, hubs, and related components Ability to properly diagnose electrical and mechanical problems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Reliable and dependable Takes pride in quality workmanship Willingness to accurately track time on every job

Highly Preferred:

Experience working on concrete mixer trucks Experience with Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, or other heavy-duty truck platforms Experience troubleshooting mixer-specific electrical and mechanical systems Experience in a truck dealership, repair shop, or truck refurbishment environment Our Work Environment We believe a job done correctly is more important than a job done quickly .
